Maruti Suzuki’s sub-4 meter SUV, the Vitara Brezza is running successfully on Indian road. As per the reports, Suzuki Motor Corporation is officially going to reveal the 2019 Vitara facelift which is 4.2 meters long, slightly bigger than the SUV model. News has it, the compact SUV is anticipated to go on sale in various European markets by the first half of 2019 while it will be fully revealed at the 2018 Paris Motor Show in September.
The facelifted version of Maruti Brezza will be getting some of the updated features as well as stylish interiors. The car will get a subtle exterior change along with a new instrument cluster. Making it quite different from the previous model, this car with updated visuals has very much to offer for international as well as Indian market. In addition to cosmetic, technical, and feature updates for the 2019 model year, Vitara also comes in two new colour options.
Coming to the new features and design of this car, it has got a redesigned grille with fat and restyled front bumper with a larger air dam. Moreover, vertically positioned chrome slats and slightly bigger LED daytime running lamps are other noticeable change in facelifted version. Keeping the side profile of the car intact, the new fork pattern of the alloy wheels is introduced. If we go to the rear side of the car, it has got all new designed LED combination lamps.
For the interiors of the car, Suzuki has made some changes for good. For more premium feel, it has incorporated soft-touch plastics on the upper half of the instrument cluster. Definitely, the company has moved to improved quality for the interiors. This new variant will be loaded with features like – dual sensor brake support, lane departure warning, and prevention, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert. All these features will be of the upgraded tech which will become the part of the new model. It will also have a colored LCD information screen on the middle.
Going to the power station of MarutiVitara 2019, as the replacement for the existing 1.6-litre petrol engine, 2019 Suzuki Vitara will come with both, the 1.0-litre and 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engines. The 1.0-litre engine is a 3-cylinder unit that produces 111PS, while on the other hand, the 1.4-litre Boosterjet engine will give 138 bhp and 220 Nm of peak torque available from just 1,500 rpm through to 4,000 rpm. For both the engines, the Suzuki’s 4WD system which is commonly called ALLGRIP is provided.
Although the car maker has announced this car in India, yet we are not confirmed of the launch date. Infact, many times the car has been spotted for test drives on Indian roads. More and more information will surface as the day of the launch comes closer. Assured from the success of MarutiVitara Brezza in India, the company is all set for its new version. For Indian conditions, Maruti Suzuki has made changes for Indian conditions and made it more budget-friendly.
